Not all spots have to be serious.  This Weather Promo was designed to run in children’s programming, and it offers a little tongue-in-cheek humor for adults too.
Cynthia McFadden came to WCVB for a visit, and we shot this promo.  This was my first time working with a crew on an HD shoot.

The bite from the officer always makes me laugh.  Why is it that you can find one of these guys in every town?

A meteorologist takes the blame for a botched forecast and leaves the market.  How do you re-cast him 5 years later?  A bit of light humor, of course.  We shot these at Reading Terminal Market... at lunch.  We used 24p HD, with audio recorded live on-site.
